Welcome to The Siblings Studio! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

1. Services

The Siblings Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides creative services including but not limited to:

Web design and development (primarily on Squarespace)
Brand and visual identity design
Content layout and creative consulting

All services are provided according to a mutually agreed project proposal or service agreement that outlines the scope, timeline, and deliverables.

2. Project Scope and Revisions

Work begins once the initial deposit has been received.
Each project includes a set number of revisions as defined in your proposal.
Additional changes or requests beyond the agreed scope will be billed at our hourly rate or as a separate project.
We’ll always confirm additional costs before proceeding with out-of-scope work.

3. Payments

A 50% deposit is required to secure your project start date.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to site launch or delivery of final assets.
Late payments may delay project delivery.
All payments are accepted via the methods listed in your invoice.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth progress:

You agree to provide all necessary materials (content, images, brand assets, logins, etc.) in a timely manner.
Delays in providing materials may result in timeline extensions.
You represent that any materials you provide are owned by you or that you have permission to use them.

5. Intellectual Property

The Siblings Studio retains ownership of all design concepts and working files until full payment has been received.
Upon final payment, ownership of approved, final deliverables transfers to you.
We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Squarespace and Third-Party Services

For websites built on Squarespace or other platforms, you are responsible for maintaining your own subscriptions and accounts.
We are not responsible for outages, bugs, or issues originating from Squarespace or other third-party services.
Any ongoing site maintenance or content updates beyond launch are billed separately.

7. Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your project after work has begun, all payments made to date are retained to cover time and resources already invested.
Projects paused for more than 30 days without communication may be considered canceled and may require a restart fee to resume.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we do our best to ensure your website functions smoothly and looks beautiful, The Siblings Studio cannot be held liable for:

Any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities resulting from use or inability to use the website.
Technical issues caused by third-party tools, integrations, or hosting platforms.
Our total liability is limited to the total fees paid for the project.

9. Warranties

We guarantee that our work will be delivered with professional skill and care.
However, we make no promises that your website will achieve specific results (such as traffic, sales, or search rankings).

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your data responsibly.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes will be resolved in San Francisco County, California.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those updates.
